Planned Hiker Crash Pad

Walk in. Rest easy.

A simple place for AT hikers and ALDHA members arriving on foot to drop a pack and breathe for a while.

Planned and not open for camping yet.

A Place to Land Softly

Creekside, with room to breathe.

We expect the main Crash Pad area to be along the creek beside the ponds, about 250 feet uphill from the planned dome cabins, giving dome guests room to breathe.

Furnished glamping sits at the top of the hill. The wide flat path gives the two areas some breathing room, and the main front lawn may work too if it calls your name.

Come in gently, keep the creek, ponds, and hillside peaceful, and leave the place quiet and clean.

Hikers Helping Hikers

Good places grow from good trail people.

We plan to keep Crash Pad money in its own little trail-community fund, with ALDHA at the top of our list for where it can do some good.

Still Growing

The Crash Pad is coming later.

It is not open for camping yet. Questions only—this does not request, hold, or reserve a stay.
